Outlandish ruins of Trøjborg Castle

Ancient walls of different heights. Some have holes that you can look through and even climb through. A moat with a bridge over it. The remains of an old dungeon... The old castle ruin Trøjborg is just waiting for you to explore it. Of course, there was not always a ruin here. More than 600 years ago, a moated castle stood here. It was sold several times, bequeathed, and even given away. At one time, demolished and rebuilt. At some point, however, the last owner did not have enough money to repair it. Nobody wanted to buy it either. So, he had the idea to at least sell the stones. But as soon as some of them had been dismantled, the bridge over the moat collapsed. The construction workers could not manage. What remained was the ruin. Now, can you imagine what the castle looked like back then?
