In the grounds of the former castle garden you will find a rosarium in which over 550 varieties of English and historical roses grow. They begin to release their wonderful scent in June. One thing in particular sets this rosarium apart from many other rosaria: it holds the largest collection of English roses from one of the most famous rose breeders there is, David C.H. Austin (*1926 in Albrighton, England). Various events take place in the Rosarium, the dates can be found in our calendar of events.
