Baskerville
“Very entertaining.” (Kieler Nachrichten)
“A successful premiere, a fantastic Sherlock Holmes evening, and an enthusiastic audience!” (NDR)
Who killed Sir Charles Baskerville? Lifeless, he lies in front of his mansion with a look of horror on his face and the footprints of a gigantic monster beside him. This can only be a case for Sherlock Holmes! He and his loyal companion John Watson encounter a family under a deadly curse, the legend of a bloodthirsty hellhound, and a village full of peculiar characters, each of whom could have a motive for the murder. Was it Sir Charles’ eccentric butler Barrymore? The dutifully helpful village doctor Dr. Mortimer? Or the quickly arrived and always cheerful Texan Henry Baskerville, who wishes to claim his inheritance?
In Ken Ludwig's adaptation, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic “The Hound of the Baskervilles” becomes a fast-paced comedy with new, surprising twists. This is largely due to the 36 lovingly quirky roles played by just five performers. In BASKERVILLE, laughter and thrilling puzzle-solving are encouraged until the curtain falls.
