Kunst im Kulturhof

The Kulturhof Flensburg e.V. is exhibiting artworks "between pain and hope" by the Kurdish-Turkish artist Aria from February to May 2026.

Aria works with an impressive variety of techniques and materials: He draws and paints with oil, acrylic, and watercolor paints, with chalk and colored pencils – sometimes on canvas, sometimes on walls. He designs furniture, upcycles old objects, and implements art projects for adults and children. He is especially known in Flensburg for his large-scale murals that can be seen on numerous façades in the city – as well as on the walls of his best friends' rooms.

Arias’s artworks can be admired every Thursday to Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM as part of the living room afternoons in our Kulturhof café in Schrangen (Große Straße 58, between Nordermarkt and Marienkirche). Delicious drinks and cakes will also be available.

Admission is free, donations are welcome.
