The today's Campus discussion will be on the topic "Going to school | (not) being able - wanting - needing. Talking with KoNIR about school life experiences".

What does it mean to understand school as a place of life? What notions of belonging and participation, as well as worthwhile teaching-learning and living conditions are associated with it and produced – and which experiences, perspectives, and inequalities fall out of focus? From a critical perspective on discrimination, we ask how school as a place of life is shaped by societal power and inequality relations, and to what extent these can be made visible, addressed, dismantled, updated, shifted, or even concealed.

The series opens a space to critically discuss the tensions between expectations and reality of schooling conditions and to bring together different perspectives from science, practice, and civil society into conversation.
