With our new program "Darkness & Light," we draw a musical path through the darkness into the light.

In the first half of the concert, we dedicate ourselves to the mystery of the night in works by, among others, Ešenvalds, Distler, and Holst, exploring all the things that visit us in the darkness: fear, sorrow, anger, despair. But also insight, silence, clarity, and the hopeful waiting for the morning. Afterwards, we turn our gaze to the light, initially just the dawn, then increasingly promising, and finally in radiant fullness.
