FLENSBURG LOVES YOU Marathon – Running event at the Flensburg Fjord
Attention athletes: Join us for the start of the FLENSBURG LOVES YOU Marathon in the fjord region! This running event combines athletic excellence with maritime flair, making Flensburg a meeting point for running enthusiasts from all over Germany and Denmark each year.
On your marks, get set, go! In September, the FLENSBURG LOVES YOU Marathon kicks off in the beautiful harbor city on the Flensburg Fjord. Moving emotions, goosebump moments, and an enthusiastic atmosphere along the route make the run a unique experience – for participants as well as spectators.
Participants can choose from the marathon (42.195 km) and the half marathon (21.098 km). Those preferring shorter distances can prove themselves in the 10 km run or the 5 km run. This way, beginners, hobby runners, and ambitious athletes will find the right challenge.
The start is located near Südermarkt on Holm. The varied course leads through the historic and modern city center of Flensburg, along the harbor, and to Marina Sonwik before the atmospheric finish awaits at Südermarkt.
