Our workshops on scientific topics for all those who can't get enough - whether young or old, big or small, curious or just plain inquisitive.
Together, we will explore the colorful world of Gelli Prints in October: We will experiment with colors, shapes, and various materials, create exciting patterns on the gel plate, and experience how surprising prints are generated each time. We will layer colors on top of each other and discover what fantastic effects can be created with very simple means. This playful approach results in unique works of art, as each print in Gelli Printing is a true one-of-a-kind. Since the technique is somewhat more demanding and we want to support each child individually, the number of participants is limited to a maximum of 5 children.
Children (from 8 years old) and adults can participate in the 30-45 minute hands-on workshop. Guided by a member of our care team, the different experiments will be carried out, where one does not just watch but can actively participate as well. Together, assumptions about the outcome of an experiment will be made, exploration and observation will take place, and afterwards, the observations from the experiment will be discussed together. The focus is not on the "right result" but rather on the journey to get there. Being curious, trying things out, failing, and experimenting and observing again are important components of research.
Registration is possible on-site on the day of the workshop. Since we are working with high-quality materials, this workshop costs 5 € per child.
