On Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 7 PM, the solo trumpeter and professor from Weimar, Uwe Komischke, and the concert organist Thorsten A. Pech, who lives in Weimar, will perform again at the Versöhnungskirche Harrislee during their summer concert tour.
The two internationally acclaimed musicians are now in Harrislee for the 7th time. This year's concert will feature works by Bach, Druckenmüller, Körling, Rheinberger, Torelli, and Walther.

In 1977, the trumpeter Uwe Komischke and the organist Thorsten A. Pech performed together for the first time. In the more than 30
years of regular collaboration, the two artists have performed throughout Germany, as well as on concert tours across large parts of Europe, as well as to China and Japan.
Uwe Komischke, born in 1961 in Schwelm/NRW, became the principal trumpeter with the Munich Philharmonic under Sergiu Celibidache in 1983. He has been involved in solo activities both domestically and internationally, producing radio, record, and television productions. In 1993, he was a visiting professor in Tokyo, and since 1994 has been a professor of trumpet at the “Franz Liszt” University of Music in Weimar. www.uwe-komischke.com
For almost 48 years, Thorsten Andreas Pech, born in 1960 in W.-Elberfeld, has been active as a concert organist, conductor, choir director, and cantor. After completing his examination in church music in 1980 and studying organ performance (graduation 1983), he pursued conductor training in Vienna (graduation 1985). He has remained a musician in the worlds of concert organ performance as well as conducting in the realm of oratorio and symphonic music. Nevertheless, Thorsten A. Pech has remained true to his Rhenish roots - since 1977, he has served as a cantor and organist. From 1989 to 2021, he was the artistic director of the Bachverein Düsseldorf and served as choral director and conductor of the Wuppertal concert choir from 2003 to 2025. After retiring from church duties, Thorsten Pech will now dedicate himself entirely to
concert performances and accompaniment as an organist as well as a guest conductor. www.thosten-pech.com
