Butcher Jam
The Butcher Jam in Flensburg is one of the most popular Pentecost events at the Flensburg Fjord. Around the skate facility of the Flensburg Sport Pirates at Galwik, international BMX professionals meet families, music fans, and sports enthusiasts. The free festival combines spectacular action sports with a varied supporting program for young and old.
Since its premiere in 2009, the Butcher Jam has become a fixed part of the Flensburg event calendar. Visitors can expect a weekend full of action, community, and festival atmosphere.
This is what the Butcher Jam offers:
- International BMX contest with riders from all over the world
- BMX Girls Class and Girls Camp
- Street basketball and Intersport soccer tournament
- Live concerts, DJs, and after-show parties
- Large family program with playmobiles, bouncy castles, sports mobiles, and many participatory activities
- Food stalls with delicious dishes and cool drinks
While spectacular tricks and competitions on the BMX course provide excitement, children can play and try out various sports offerings. The relaxed atmosphere makes the Butcher Jam a special destination for families, groups of friends, and anyone visiting Flensburg over Pentecost.
Whether action sports, live music, or a family festival – the Butcher Jam unites international BMX culture with northern German hospitality and is one of the largest BMX events in northern Germany. Anyone visiting Flensburg during Pentecost should not miss this special festival.
