On Sunday, November 30, 2025 – the first Advent Sunday – Fakkelgaarden will open its doors for a first Christmas Open House. On this day, the iconic building on the Flensburg Fjord will be filled with the scent, taste, and magic of the Christmas season – and we look forward to sharing this experience with our guests from the region as well as visitors from afar.
The event is designed as a cozy and informal day where our guests can meet some of our talented partners, admire the festively decorated rooms, and get a special glimpse behind the scenes of the beautiful building on the Flensburg Fjord and into selected rooms.
“We want to create a day where our guests can feel both the special Fakkelgaarden atmosphere and the magic of the Christmas season. This is the first time we will open our house to all guests for Christmas after the change of ownership, and we hope this will be the beginning of a new tradition.”
For food lovers, our kitchen will serve a festive 3-course Christmas menu starting at 12:00 PM (345,-- DKK).
