When Christmas Suddenly Takes Us 400 Years Back
What did Christmas sound like more than 400 years ago? On the 3rd Sunday of Advent, the Sankt Nikolai Choirs from Flensburg and Eckernförde invite you on a musical journey into the early 17th century.
In the historically reconstructed Christmas Mass based on the works of Michael Praetorius, magnificent choral music meets the sound of historical instruments. At selected moments, the audience is invited to join in the singing and, for a moment, become part of this unique soundscape.
An Advent concert for everyone who would like to experience Christmas from a different perspective – festive, surprising, and with a little excursion into the past.
