Lübberty - Freiheit für die Ohren

The trio led by Hamburg guitarist Arne Lübbert represents a modern, vibrant jazz sound that reaches both experienced jazz audiences and newcomers alike. With distinctive, genre-crossing compositions – from atmospheric soundscapes to straight-ahead swing and tight grooves – a varied and energy-filled concert experience is created.

At the center is a refined band sound, characterized by clear dramaturgy, high presence, and unconditional ensemble playing. The music thrives on openness, curiosity, and the courage to take risks together. This results in a lively dialogue on stage that is instantly transferred to the audience.

Lübberty sees itself as a musical collective, where freedom and trust form the foundation: ideas are experimented with, boundaries explored, and soundscapes collaboratively shaped. The compositions serve as a starting point for improvisation and collective development. The result is melodic, genre-open music that cannot be pigeonholed and remains accessible precisely because of this.
