Workshop "Luft ist nicht nichts"
Our workshops on scientific topics are back! For all those who can’t get enough - whether big or small, young or old, inquisitive or just curious.
Together we explore the invisible wonders around us: We extinguish a candle flame in a glass, chase invisible, swirling “air donuts” through the room with an air cannon, and find out why a piece of paper suddenly sticks firmly to the table. Along the way, we discover together how the air around us pushes, what happens in true “vacuum,” and how we can even pull the hidden power of air pressure behind us on a string.
Children and adults can participate in the free* 30-45 minute hands-on workshop. Accompanied by a member of our support team, the various experiments will be conducted, where participants not only watch but are also encouraged to take part actively. Together we will make guesses about the outcome of an experiment, explore and observe, and afterward, discuss the findings of the experiment together. The focus is not on the "correct result," but rather the path to it. Being curious, trying things out, failing, and experimenting and observing again are important parts of research.
*Participation in the workshop is free in connection with the exhibition admission.
Please note that there are a limited number of spots available. Registration is possible on-site on the day of the workshop.
