Celebrate with us the 25th anniversary edition of the Flensburg Short Film Festival from November 17–22, 2026.

We will touch you with a cinema experience that takes over the entire body: cinema is goosebumps, cinema connects palpably. Experience a program of short films that awakens all senses, reawakens passion and thoughts!

For the first time, the festival period will stretch over six days. Ample time to experience the six competition blocks, an exhibition, numerous specials, and of course a diverse industry program.

The Flensburg Short Film Festival will take place this year from November 17 to November 22, 2026. Under the motto "With Skin and Hair," the festival will gift the audience an additional festival day for the anniversary edition.

The Flensburg competition includes six curated programs featuring over 30 short films from Danish and German-speaking production countries. For the anniversary, new program highlights will gather, such as multimedia exhibitions, a talent tandem program with Filmværksted Odense, as well as a comprehensive industry program.
