Beach Wassersleben
The Wassersleben beach in Harrislee is located directly on the Flensburg Fjord and marks the westernmost point of the Baltic Sea. The fine sandy beach, which slopes gently, is ideal for families, sun-seekers, and water sports enthusiasts. Due to its proximity to Flensburg and the Danish Kollund, Wassersleben is a popular destination with a short travel time and maritime atmosphere.
The promenade offers restaurants, cafés, and a wide view over the fjord. Hiking and biking paths lead along the coast and connect Wassersleben with other highlights of the region. Barrier-free access makes visiting the beach easier!
Important for visitors: In Wassersleben, there is no designated dog beach. Dogs are only allowed outside the main season. The beach is not permanently supervised by the DLRG, so bathers should be particularly attentive.
Whether for a spontaneous Baltic Sea day, a vacation at the fjord, or as a starting point for tours along the coast – Wassersleben combines nature, relaxation, and proximity to the border into a versatile experience.
