The Fördesteig is a varied long-distance hiking trail along the Flensburg Fjord, connecting nature experiences, coastal landscapes, and maritime places in the German-Danish border region. On various stages, the path leads through Flensburg and along the fjord through Schleswig-Holstein.
The route primarily runs close to the coast and offers beautiful views of the Flensburg Fjord. Along the way, beaches, steep coastlines, forests, fields, and small villages alternate. Numerous sights and excursion destinations can be discovered along the fjord.
The Fördesteig is particularly suitable for hikes and multi-day tours. Individual stages can also be planned as day hikes, allowing you to flexibly adapt the route to your time and fitness.
