Museum Village Angeln in Unewatt – Experience History Between Windmill and Natural Idyllic

Much more than a classic museum: In the Museum Village Angeln in Unewatt, you immerse yourself in the rural history of Schleswig-Holstein. Between the five museum islands, you experience firsthand how people lived and worked in the past. Discover the historical butter mill, the smokehouse with the old transformer house, the windmill Fortuna, and the Christesen barn – each station tells its own unique story.

Even though the well-known Marxen house was lost in June 2024 due to a major fire, the museum village remains a very special place full of atmosphere, tradition, and exciting insights.

After your tour, you can recharge at the restaurant Unewatt by Hendrik with regional specialties – perfect for gathering new energy for your outing.

Our Tip: Combine your visit with a walk through the idyllic Langballigau valley. Once you arrive at the bottom, fresh Baltic Sea air, a small beach oasis, and a breathtaking view of the Danish coast await you. Ideal for a relaxing break in nature.
