Tourguide
In many museums, people are extra quiet in order to not disturb other visitors. In the Kupfermühle Industrial Museum things are somewhat different. This place can be really loud - as noisy as it was 60 years ago, when copper and brass sheets were produced here. The old machines are still kept and maintained. On guided tours it will be shown just how clanky and rackety they can be. Some of them don't need electricity from the socket, as they get their momentum from the water wheel. The first one was brought in place here 400 years ago. To this day, the water wheel still turns its rounds in front of the museum. It is driven by the Krusau brook. You will see many yellow-painted houses around the old copper mill. That's where the workers lived with their families. Are you curious? There is a QR-code guided tour in the Copper Mill Industrial Museum - with five stations especially for children!
