Excursion cruise with the MS Viking
The MS VIKING is a popular ferry for excursions on the Flensburg Fjord. A trip to the romantic Baltic seaside resort of Glücksburg is also possible by ship from Flensburg. The cruise passes the museum harbor and leads out into the Flensburg inner fjord, past the Ox Islands, until reaching the docking point at the pier in Sandwig on the Glücksburg beach. During the land stop, a visit to Glücksburg Water Castle or a relaxing beach life at the spa beach is recommended.

Schedules: From April 1 to October 31, the MS VIKING operates from Tuesday to Sunday. Departures from Flensburg are at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m., and from Glücksburg at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m. The one-way trip takes about 50 minutes, the return trip takes around 45 minutes. A complete fjord round trip lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.

On board, there are food and drinks as well as seating in the salon and on the deck. Bicycles, bicycle trailers, and carts can be brought along for an additional fee.
