PHÄNOMENTA Flensburg – Science to Participate
The PHÄNOMENTA Flensburg is an interactive science center directly at the Nordertor and a special destination for families, children, and adults. Covering about 2,400 square meters, numerous experiment stations invite visitors to discover, try out, and understand natural sciences and technology for themselves.
Here, touching and participating is explicitly welcomed! Whether it's light, colors, movement, mirrors, senses, or exciting puzzles – the interactive exhibition offers diverse opportunities to delve into scientific phenomena in a playful way. There is no set route: visitors can create their own journey of discovery through the exhibition.
The PHÄNOMENTA in Flensburg was established in 1985 as Germany's first pure hands-on science center and is today a well-established institution for science communication and family outings in the region. In addition to the permanent exhibition, there are regularly special actions, events, and offerings for schools and groups.

As a rule, it is open from Tuesday to Sunday, while Monday is a day of rest.
